At Risedale we have a dedicated team, who work hard to produce a wide variety of meals for our pupils and staff, freshly cooked each day. Ingredients are sourced locally from around the Yorkshire region and offer a healthy, balanced and varied diet.
Purchasing Food
The school operates a 'cashless system' for purchasing food, this is where pupils use cash to top up their balance in school by using the Reval Machines available in the dining hall or parents can top up using 'ParentPay' online. By using the ParentPay facility, parents can also check their child's balance and see what they have purchased to eat.
We supply a range of healthy meals, snacks and drinks and to suit every taste and to give pupils extra value for money we also offer a wide range of 'Meal-Deals'; these include a daily main meal option of 1 course for £2.50 or 2 courses for £2.90. Please be assured, that if your child qualifies for Free School Meals, their daily allowance will automatically cover the cost of the two-course ‘Meal Deal’ ensuring they continue to enjoy a balanced and filling lunch at no additional cost.
