On Wednesday 19th June, Year 10 pupils at Risedale School had a fantastic opportunity to explore their future options at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College during a Taster Day. As part of the Year 10 Careers Programme, this activity was arranged for pupils interested in applying for A-Levels next year in a variety of subjects, leading to a careers pathway to University (Higher Education), Degree, Higher Degree and Intermediate Apprenticeships and Employment.

While the Taster Day has passed, there's more to come! Keep an eye out for details about Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form Open Evenings, which will be published in September. These evenings provide another chance for pupils and parents to meet subject teachers directly and learn more about the curriculum, facilities, and student life at the sixth form. This can be invaluable when making important college application decisions later in the Autumn Term.
