On Wednesday 4th October the Year 8 Boys Football Team took part in the Hambleton and Richmondshire Area 11 aside cup against Bedale High School. The boys showcased their skills superbly in the first half of the game going 3-0 up; with fantastic goals scored by Liam, Corey and Alex. However, Bedale showed great resilience and managed to grab 3 goals in the second half, taking the game into extra time followed by nail-biting penalties. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be and the boys ended up losing 4-1 on penalties but I hope they know that I am really proud of them and thought they played brilliantly!
