Risedale School Year 9 boys put up a fight in a tough away match.
The Risedale School Year 9 Boys Football team faced a tough challenge in an away fixture against Stokesley School and Sixth Form College on Thursday 7th March.
Despite encountering a strong Stokesley side, the Risedale boys displayed commendable determination throughout the match.
While integrating new players into the squad and adapting to unfamiliar positions, the team remained persistent and created a number of scoring opportunities. Their efforts were rewarded with a well-placed penalty expertly converted by James Pollock.
Although the final score ultimately went against Risedale, the team's perseverance and willingness to adapt deserve recognition. This match served as a valuable learning experience, and the team will undoubtedly benefit from this going forward.
