The Art department at Risedale School has been buzzing this week with the excitement of the "Tired Santa" portrait drawing competition. Open to all Key Stage 3 pupils, the challenge was to capture the weary but joyful expression of Santa Claus after a long night of delivering presents.

The results were truly impressive, showcasing a remarkable range of artistic talent amongst the young artists. Despite the time limit of just 50 minutes, pupils produced drawings of exceptional quality, demonstrating impressive observation skills and a flair for capturing the essence of their subject.

"I was absolutely blown away by the high standard of drawing I have seen from such young pupils," commented Head of Art, Ms Westwood. "Their creativity and dedication are truly inspiring."

There were 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, plus runners up in each art class and all participants will be awarded Epraise house points in recognition of their hard work and artistic achievements.
