Three talented young cheerleaders from Risedale School are set to make history once again by representing their club, Lazer Cheer in Catterick Garrison, at the prestigious NCA All-Star National Championship 2025 in Dallas, Texas.

Eva Langdale (10Vizor), and sisters Lacey Hanson (11Dunphy) and Sienna Hanson (9Lawson) have already cemented their status as international stars, having recently won gold medals as part of the Team England squad at the World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida in April 2024.

The upcoming competition in Dallas, one of the largest of its kind in the United States, will provide the girls with an unparalleled opportunity to once again showcase their skills against some of the best cheerleaders in the world.

During their stay in Texas, the team will have the chance to train at renowned cheerleading gyms and potentially meet their idols. The experience promises to be both exhilarating and educational for the young athletes.

An NCA showcase will be held on Sunday 23rd February 2025, at Lazer Cheer Catterick, allowing the team to perform for their friends, family, and guests before embarking on their American adventure. The team will then fly out to Dallas to compete from 28th February to 2nd March 2025.

As the girls prepare for this monumental opportunity, the entire Risedale Family is rallying behind them. Their participation in the NCA All-Star National Championship is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent.

Head of PE at Risedale School and Sienna's form tutor, Mr Lawson, said, "We're incredibly proud of the girls' dedication to cheerleading and their ability to balance their athletic pursuits with their academic responsibilities. They serve as inspiring role models for their peers, demonstrating the importance of hard work, aspiration, and commitment. We wish them the best of luck in Dallas and look forward to hearing about their successes."
