House System News from Mr Gunnell

I am delighted to announce the results of this year's House System competition. After a closely fought competition, it gives me great pleasure to declare Pankhurst the 2024 House Champions! The final House Point totals were as follows:

1st Pankhurst 💜 with 40,179 points

2nd Attenborough 💙 with 37,575 points

3rd Seacole 🧡 with 33,788 points

4th Turing ❤️ with 30,817 points

Congratulations to Pankhurst for their outstanding achievement, and a special mention must also go to Attenborough for their exceptional win on Sports Day.

A huge shoutout to the pupils of 7Rodgers (Turing House) for their impressive achievement of winning the Tutor Group Attendance Cup a record-breaking 10 times this year.

Rewards Day Fun for Pankhurst House and Star Pupils

Pankhurst House celebrated their victory in style with a thrilling Rewards Day featuring an inflatable assault course and gladiator arena. 

The celebrations extended into the afternoon with special recognition for pupils who consistently demonstrated an outstanding attitude towards their learning. 40 exemplary pupils enjoyed a session on the inflatables, while the top five Epraise points scorers from each Tutor Group participated in a vibrant colour run.

As the first term in my new role as House & Rewards Manager comes to an end I’m pleased to share with you that it has been truly remarkable. I have witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm and determination that our pupils exhibit in their pursuit of excellence. I look forward to regularly celebrating our exceptional pupils in the next academic year, supported by the entire Risedale family.

This Rewards Day not only celebrated Pankhurst's victory but also highlighted Risedale School's commitment to recognising and encouraging consistent academic effort and positive attitudes among all pupils.
