On Friday 26th October, Risedale School transformed into a spooky haven for its Halloween disco. With music pumping from Smooth Sounds Around Town, the school's doors were thrown open to a night of ghoulish fun and frightful festivities.
Despite the long half-term, the energy levels of the pupils were infectious as they took to the dance floor, dressed in their most creative and imaginative Halloween costumes. From spooky skeletons to mischievous witches, the school was filled with a kaleidoscope of characters, each eagerly embracing the spirit of the season.
Among the many outstanding costumes, Sofia Arckless, Oscar Baker, Nevaeh Bascombe-Nakoma, Bailey Mayho, Scarlett Moss, Thomas Remmer and Miss Douglas stood out for their exceptional creativity and attention to detail. Their costumes were truly works of art, adding an extra layer of excitement to the already lively atmosphere.
The disco was a resounding success, providing a much-needed boost of fun and energy for both pupils and staff alike. It was a night to remember, filled with laughter, music, and the thrill of Halloween leaving everyone with memories that would last long after the last cobweb had been cleared away.
Happy Halloween, Risedale!
