Risedale School celebrates GCSE achievements of Year 11 pupils.
We are delighted to announce that our Year 11 pupils will be leaving Risedale School with a strong set of GCSE results this summer.
Deputy Headteacher, James Yates, expressed his pride in the pupils by saying,
“I would like to thank our pupils for their dedication and focus throughout their time at Risedale. Many of our pupils, by the very nature of living in a Garrison, will have encountered multiple settings and the resilience and determination they exhibit are tremendous to behold. The empathy and kindness our pupils display are also wonderful, as they forge deep and meaningful friendships and support networks, helping them navigate life's transitions with confidence during times of uncertainty. Two pupils who exemplify this are lifelong friends, Grace Baker and Grace Hall-Twist, two exceptional pupils with strong futures ahead of themselves.”
“I would also like to thank all our fantastic staff for their unwavering dedication and belief in our incredible pupils. The hard work and perseverance they exhibit each day ensure our pupils are leaving Risedale with good grades across a range of academic subjects. More importantly, however, they leave us as well-rounded, respectful, and tolerant young adults. This combination of academic progress and intrinsic values of mutual respect and collaboration, ensures they have a strong platform for their future endeavours.”
“Many of our pupils will be proud of their results; however, notable successes include Blake Atkinson, who achieved grade 8s across all 3 Sciences, plus Computer Science and a well-deserved grade 9 in Mathematics. Katie Galloway also showed incredible dedication throughout her studies and achieved grade 8 and 7s across a range of subjects including English, all 3 Sciences, Mathematics and Geography. Special mention also to Masood Dawoodzai who, despite joining the school late in KS4, adapted incredibly well to achieve strong grades in all his subjects – a true role model to the pupils around him.”
The Risedale Family congratulates all of its pupils on their GCSE results. We are grateful to our staff for their dedication and commitment to our pupils' success, as well as to the parents and carers who have provided unwavering support and encouragement throughout their children's academic journey. We wish our leavers all the best as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024
