We are delighted to announce that our Year 11 pupils will be leaving Risedale School with a fantastic set of GCSE results this summer.
Headteacher, Colin Scott, expressed his pride in the pupils by saying:
I am very proud of the resilience and determination that our pupils have demonstrated during their time here as part of the Risedale Family, especially given the challenges they have gone through during the Covid lockdowns. Our pupils show empathy and kindness in all they do and have supported each other immensely during the challenges of the last couple of years. I would also like to thank our fantastic staff (teaching and support) for their unwavering dedication and belief in our incredible pupils.
Most of our pupils are leaving Risedale with good grades across a range of academic subjects which will provide them with a strong platform for their future endeavours. More importantly, however, they are leaving us as well-rounded, respectful, and tolerant young adults who will be able to add immense value to society. I look forward to hearing from them in the future, I know they all have bright futures ahead of them.
