Drenched but Delighted: A fun-filled enrichment trip to Leyburn and The Forbidden Corner.
On Tuesday 9th July, a group of adventurous pupils from Years 7-9 embarked on a memorable enrichment trip to Leyburn and The Forbidden Corner. Despite the atrocious weather, their spirits remained high throughout the day.
Their first stop was Leyburn Railway Station, where they participated in an engaging quiz. This activity not only tested their teamwork but also introduced them to the train network, a potential gateway to exploring the scenic Yorkshire Dales.
Next, they ventured into the captivating world of The Forbidden Corner. This quirky wonderland, filled with curious attractions and interactive elements, proved to be a hit. Even the surprise water jets, which left some pupils pleasantly soaked, added to the lighthearted fun, especially considering the downpour outside.
Throughout the trip, the pupils impressed everyone with their exemplary behavior and enthusiasm. They were fantastic ambassadors for the school, leaving a positive impression wherever they went.
A big thank you to Mrs Deighton and Mrs Carlisle (HLTAs) for organising this successful and enjoyable trip!
