Risedale School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Year 10 pupil, Charlotte Watkins, who is a key member of the Northallerton Under-16s girls' football team.

This talented young athlete has been instrumental in the team's impressive performance this season. Despite being one of the youngest players, Charlotte's skill, dedication, and sportsmanship have contributed significantly to the team's unbeaten record in the York League and their progression in cup competitions.

Charlotte's father, Alun Watkins, expressed his immense pride in his daughter and the entire team. "I'm incredibly proud of Charlotte and her teammates," he said. "They've shown remarkable dedication and commitment, and their hard work is paying off."

The team's success is a testament to the players' unwavering commitment to the sport. Nine of the 15 players attend extra training sessions each week, on top of their regular 1 hour 45 min training session each Thursday, demonstrating their passion and desire to excel.

Risedale School congratulates Charlotte and the entire Northallerton Under-16s team on their exceptional performance and wishes them continued success in the future.
