Risedale School pupils demonstrate impressive drills and skills at passing out parade after successfully completing a BTEC qualification in Fire & Rescue Services in the Community.
Congratulations to Risedale School pupils (past and present), Grace Hall-Twist, Katie Rowell, Riley Harrison and Llinos Jones. After two years of dedication and hard work, they have successfully completed a Level 2 BTEC qualification in Fire & Rescue Services in the Community.
On Monday 17th July, a passing out parade was held where the cadets showcased their impressive drills and skills. The event was attended by an enthusiastic audience consisting of family members, friends, and esteemed guests.
We would also like to give special recognition to Grace Hall-Twist (10Southworth-Gedye) who was presented with a well-deserved award for Most Improved Cadet by Deputy Lord Lieutenant David Kerfoot CBE alongside Deputy Chief Fire Officer Matt Walker.
Congratulations once again to all the cadets! Your achievements are truly remarkable and reflect your hard work and commitment to the Fire Service.
Riley's proud Mum, Emma, said,
"2 years of hard work, amazing experiences and skills for life! Riley has thoroughly enjoyed every minute and I would strongly encourage any young person willing to take on the challenge (although it's not for the faint-hearted) to sign up for the next course. They certainly won't be disappointed or bored!! 😃 All while giving a little back to your community and gaining a qualification."
