Risedale School recently celebrated the outstanding achievements of its top-performing pupils with two unforgettable reward trips. These festive adventures to York Christmas Market and the Georgian Theatre Royal were a testament to the school’s commitment to recognising and rewarding hard work and dedication.
A Magical Christmas Market:
On Thursday 12th December, the 29 highest Epraise-scoring pupils from Years 10 and 11 embarked on a journey to the enchanting York Christmas Market. This festive extravaganza offered a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in festive cheer, explore charming stalls, and indulge in delicious treats. All the pupils had a fantastic time and particularly enjoyed their complimentary hot chocolate.
A Pirate Adventure:
On Friday 13th December, the top 7 Epraise scorers from Years 7, 8, and 9 set sail on a pirate adventure at the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond. They were treated to a captivating performance of "Treasure Island," a classic tale of pirates, treasure, and adventure.
