Risedale Enrichment Trips: A Day of Adventure!

Risedale School pupils and staff enjoyed a fantastic day out on Wednesday 17th July on their Enrichment Trips with each year group embarking on a different adventure. The perfect weather added to the enjoyment of the various destinations.

Year 7 embarked on a journey to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, where they explored the fascinating world of armour and weaponry. Year 8 journeyed to the National Railway Museum in York for an up-close look at the history of rail travel. Year 9 enjoyed the coastal delights of Saltburn, while Year 10 explored the picturesque historic town of Whitby.

"A huge thank you to all the dedicated Risedale staff who organised these trips," expressed Senior Teacher Mrs Hailwood. "Your tireless efforts in supporting and supervising our pupils ensured a fantastic day for everyone."

Headteacher Mr Scott echoed Mrs Hailwood's sentiments, adding, "I am incredibly grateful to each and every one of you. Whether you stayed on-site and kept the school running smoothly or accompanied the pupils on their adventures, your commitment to our pupils is truly commendable. You all played a vital role in making this day unforgettable for our pupils. Thank you once again, and well done to the whole Risedale Family!"
