On Tuesday 17th December, the Elf Olympics brought festive cheer and excitement to Risedale School! Pupils who ranked in the top 20 for Epraise points in their year group were invited to take part in this fun-filled competition. The event featured a variety of Christmas-themed party games, from snowman wrapping and Santa sack stacking to the hilarious blindfolded snow shovelling.

Pupils were sorted into randomly selected groups, creating an amazing opportunity to work together as a team. “It was wonderful to see them come together, share laughs, and enjoy a well-earned afternoon of fun with others who have also excelled this term," said Mr Gunnell. "As Head of House and Rewards, I was incredibly proud to watch the camaraderie and encouragement, especially as older pupils enthusiastically supported younger pupils throughout the games."

A huge thank you to all the pupils who participated and made the event so enjoyable, and an equally big thank you to the staff who helped organise and run the activities. What a fantastic way to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our pupils this term!
