Risedale School was filled with festive cheer on Thursday 12th December as pupils and staff donned their most wonderful winter woollies for Christmas Jumper Day. The event was a resounding success, raising an impressive £235.55 for Save the Children UK.

A dazzling display of creative knitwear filled the school, with pupils and staff showcasing a variety of festive designs. From reindeer and snowmen to twinkling lights and Santa hats, there was something for everyone to admire.

Save the Children UK shared their appreciation on Instagram, saying, "Fantastic! There's some wonderful woollies there! Thank you so much for your support and we hope you have a tinsel-tastic #ChristmasJumperDay."

The school's participation in Christmas Jumper Day not only brought joy and festive spirit to the school community but also contributed to a worthy cause. By raising money for Save the Children, pupils and staff helped to support vulnerable children around over the UK.
