Talented Year 8 pupil, Charlotte Swift is firmly establishing herself within the community as a highly-skilled local artist. This spring, Charlotte’s artwork was selected alongside established adult local artists and will be exhibited as part of the Wensleydale Community Arts Festival taking place from Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th June 2023.

The Wensleydale Community Arts Festival is a celebration of ‘all aspects of creativity which contribute to the social and cultural heritage of the Dales’ and it is expected that thousands of visitors will attend the varied programme of events which is a showcase of local talent.

Head of Art, Ms Westwood, said:

“To hear that Charlotte will be one of only a few artists showcasing her artistic talent across the Dales is no surprise. She never fails to impress with her creative abilities in art, which come from practice, dedication and passion. She has a very bright future ahead of her and I can’t wait to see her creations on display”.
