On Tuesday 26th November, a group of our GCSE PE and Cambridge National Sport Studies pupils embarked on an unforgettable journey to The Etihad Stadium to witness the UEFA Champions League clash between Manchester City and Feyenoord.
The trip offered pupils a unique opportunity to experience the electrifying atmosphere of a top-tier football match firsthand. Despite the 3-3 draw, the match was a thrilling spectacle featuring two world-class teams.
“The pupils’ behaviour was exemplary throughout the trip,” said Mr Gunnell, who led the excursion. “They engaged enthusiastically with the experience, soaking up every moment of the matchday atmosphere. It was a pleasure to take them.”
A big thank you to the staff who organised and supervised the trip, making it a rewarding outing for everyone involved.
